Cremer Coating

High speed flame spraying works with a continued gas combustion under high pressure in a combustion chamber to which the powdery spray filler materials are added into its central axis.

The high pressure generated in the combustion chamber by the combustion gas - hydrogen mix achieves the required high flow speed in the gas spray. The spray particles are thus accelerated to high particle speeds which lead to extremely dense spray coatings with extraordinary hold.

The sufficient but moderate temperature input is only slightly changed metallurgically by the spraying of the spray filler materials, e.g. minimal build-up of mixed carbides. Extremely thin coatings with high accuracy are obtained with this method.

Propane, Propane, Ethylene, Acetyls, hydrogen can be used as combustion gas.

Application areas are gliding surfaces of steam irons, presses for the photo industry, parts for the petrochemical and chemical machines, e.g. pumps, sliders, ball vents, mechanical joints, shaft sleeves etc.
